Winter (A Sonnet)

Winter is a time that makes my soul sing
Something makes me love the cold
Perhaps it's when I hear the silver bells ring
Perhaps it's that the weather is so bold
I love to feel the wind on my face
I love the way I feel free
I love the lights on everyone's place
I love to feel snow fall on me
It makes me glad to see the white
On the ground: I go skiing
Especially going at night
Reminds me this beauty was created by a great being
Winter is a wonderful season I feel
The feeling it gives me reminds me that I am real
