Looking-Glass Redemption

The lamb stretched out feeling the pain,
Obediently drinking our cup of shame.
The heart of his spirit kneels to his holy,
Sacrificing himself to uphold their glory.
South becomes North, East into West,
As sin injects perfections' crest.
The center of his will meets
Wrath-filled cries, Leading to this moment,
True love; chastised.
A United God splitting like atoms,
Universe shattering, can you imagine?
Intertwined forces repelling like magnets,
But the fabric of life becoming un-tragic.
The back of the Father faces the Son,
declaring: It has been finished;
Sin has not won.
Eye for eye bled holy for kin,
Created a new order; took death to begin.
Glorified he illuminates all ages,
Destroys the bars on sin's soul cages.
Backward, forward, upwards and down,
Redemption’s king everlasting crowned.
