Aaryaa Kamdar Poems

Some say when the night goes cold;
The phantom descends the creaky staircase;
And ambles around the labyrinths of grubby corridors;
In desperate search for the Gates Of Paradise;

Since my birth, I've always had a follower.
From when I started to crawl,
Till the time by which I could stand straight,
This follower never left…

The Angst

Some say when the night goes cold;
The phantom descends the creaky staircase;
And ambles around the labyrinths of grubby corridors;
In desperate search for the Gates Of Paradise;
The only key is Sacrifice…

Despite the immense revulsion by commoners;
Despite feeling like a bird captured in a cage;
Despite of having only the brain of a mouse to nimble on;
Despite the feeling of capsizing himself under the dark waters;
The Phantom survives…

Unable to extricate from the grasps of the Grubby corridors;
Unable to reinforce the liveliness within him;
Unable to uncover the dark secrets of his only obstacle;
Unable to unite with the Gates Of Paradise;
The Phantom Survives…

Disguising himself as a heartless soul;
There still remains a heart deep down;
Persistently contemplating on the sacrifices he could make;
Not realizing that it lay right in front of his eyes:
His own dead body…
