Bed Time

Say your prays and
lay your head down.
Shut your tired eyes,
they have had a long day.

Under the blanket,
will your body lay.
On goes the night light,
so the monsters go away.

The sandman comes
to take you to take you away,
To a place
where your imagination can play,
Until the sun goes up to start a new day.
