Start to think i'm getting my friend back
but how do i realy know
were we just making small talk
trying not to let your true colours show

neither one of us said goodbye
because there was nothing left to say
i could say sorry but it wasn't me

The rest of the universe is soaked up
In their own little lives
and i just don't wanna show them
because i don't think that they'd understand

I didn't think we'd get through this
but we both made it out alive
i got a few scars
maybe you did

it's frightening
i thought we'd be over

You know that heart you disected
last week in science
well i think it may have been mine
tryed so hard to be gentle with my fragile mental state

Some kid kicking the back of my seat

threaten to tear off his feet
