Lying flat on the boulder was I,
Gazing into the foggy sky.
The sound of the water falling was all I heard
And the water droplets settled on my lashes, making my vision go blurred.

My heart beat faster as I stared at you.
I took a second, third and fourth look at you.
My thoughts were filled with you, you and only you.

When I was a small kid, they told me
That God answers our prayers.
However trying the situation might be,
He would be a life saver.

Tears well up in my eyes,
As I kneel frozen as ice,
In front of your grave, bidding adieu;
Having visions of the good times with you.

The sky stood proud and majestic,
Clad in a bluish black mystique.
Dazzling stars were the only ornaments which she wore.
The sky noticed that I was staring;

That night you left me
And went far, far away…
Hoped you'd come, to work this through
And that we could find some way …

You weren't like the soil on the ground;
Giving me access, to hold on to you for support.
But, you were like the fertilizers on the ground;
Helping me develop strong roots of education.
