Your Fears

Seven Days
What does this mean?
I don't understand
I'm confused
Horrid images fill my mind
Who knows?

Six Days
Until what?
The memorial of his death?
It's all so confusing
I see an image of him dying
Then killing me
What does this mean?

Five Days
I keep getting signals.
But why?
Is this the end?
Of the nightmares?
The abuse?
The pain?
My life?
What?

Four Days
He's back
This can't be happening
He is supposed to be dead
They killed him two yeahs before

Three Days
I hear a scream
My first thought
My daughter
She's dead
I run to my son's room
He is alive
Nobody else is in the house.

Two Days
'Mommy, where is sissy? '
I can't speak
Too much shock
I just hug him
He knows.

One Day
Another scream
It's my son
I know it is
Later that night
You walk into the room
Me completely unaware
I hear something downstairs
It could be anything
I scream
As sure as I am
I'm only 19
Living alone
I had two kids

I awaken in a dark black room
I can't feel my feet
My head is pounding
Blood is dripping down my face.
Then, a big bright light shines in my eyes
I hear, 'Oh, don't cry'
But I can't stop
I see you stand up and walk towards me
That is when I realize I am tied to a bed.
You pull my clothes off of me
I hear you laughing
You're hurting me..

The next thing I remember
I awaken to a slight shriek
I'm in a room full of mirrors
They show all of the cuts and bruises
I turn around,
There is a piece of paper lying on the ground
All it says is 'Goodbye'
I look up
As I do, I see you standing there
You push me into a chair
and lock my down
As you mock me,
you run a knife blade
Up and down my body
As you slowly stab me in the heart,
You hear my faint whisper, 'Why Me? '
