Torn

Everyday thoughts of you run through my head.

I think of things and how they were in the past to now,
and all I can say is wow.

It's crazy how things start off one way then things change.

My heart is saddened by how things are between us now. As I think of it, it makes me frown.

This feeling I have I wish it would go away.

Thoughts of being with you. Laughing, crying, smiling, the good and the bad make me wish I could do things all over agian.

It makes me want to go back to that day,
that day where things were perfect.

Back to that day where there were no worries, no disagreements.

Situations where we both wish we could've worked out. But then again, when I think of everything as a whole it makes me sick.

It makes me feel like everything we had, everything we did, everything we talked about was a lie.

I ask myself and wonder how someone could do the things you do.
Act the way you do, at times, and make me cry.

Yeah, I know I did my dirt, and I know I made you hurt.

But in the end my face ended up getting put in the dirt.

So I ask myself, do you hurt as much as I hurt.
