Ajiive Jay Poems

The great wheat field,
No ‘loner wheat',
All on close to other's shoulder,
They are, together sown and reaped!
...

A silent cry of a migraine,
Like an industrial alarm in head!
All a remnant of night-depression.
Like loosing bangles, the falling sighs!
...

3.

Give me the voice-
Of a man,
I found in my teen.
He walked with me,
...

Beloved! ,
What do you think-
Of 'broken toys'?
'useless! ..., ugly! ...
...

Happy Valentine's day...............

Sweet...yet.....painful.....
the secret of this exotic mix
...

I am seeing today
‘cause you gave me your eyes!
I am seeing today
‘cause you lost your eyes!
...

On my Birth day-
Is born-
The birthing pain
With a cry,
...

In the past,
I never complained-
Of the over arching Oranges
Or the sun-eater fat Pines
...

Life is a compromise;
Between birth and death,
Between body and soul,
Between heaven and hell.
...

You are tying me a music
Into the mouths of your children
Who cry for their unknown dads!
...

We travel all over,
In trains, buses and strolling,
Stations pass by
Faces changing colors
...

My dearest,
Loneliness told me....

You touched Him/Her-
When you leaned in tiredness
To the bark of a cedar tree!
...

When you've finished your party,
Emptied your wine and beer,
The dance floor for us ready.
Let's hear in a candle's light,
...

At the departure terminal,
As on an Indian street,
With merchants of spice,
Am an excited kid-
...

To my unknown friend,
'Do you know me? '
The unknown reply,
'One day will know you?
...

A monk on a festive street,
Trapped in a gambler's group,
Like a monkey's-
Drunken hand, dropped-
...

She saw a boat-man,
A half naked 'grey man', smelling fish,
A man of melting shadow,
Never the ripples got him.
...

Travelling with the wind........
Feet held on heavens..........
searching what everyone searches..
not finding what you find!
...

Your thin long shadows,
Strings of lusty eyes grab them.
Each stares through thy window-sill,
Through the rented wardrobe,
...

Let me speak of rains and dreams,
Yesterday city had neither dreams nor rains,
Perhaps had no time to spear!
Little ones had no water to smear!

Market Economy

The great wheat field,
No ‘loner wheat',
All on close to other's shoulder,
They are, together sown and reaped!
Yet a few ‘loner wheat',
Left of sickle's edge,
Left of pride and profit,
Yet reaper names it ‘charity'! !
Export and import it,
And create an economy
Of demand ridden supply! And-
Keep ploughing and plundering
Land of landless-
That the
Lads look for-
Left over ‘loner wheat'! !
Ever, in this battlefield.
