A Great Piece

A great piece
is the one that
bleeds your heart.

The one
that moves your
lips to a song.

The one
that defines the
word art.

The one that
makes you feel
like you belong.

A great piece
creates a story
with each line.

Comforts you,
caresses you with
each metaphor.

The perfect piece
could be Shakespeare's or
it could be mine.

A great piece shakes
and moulds your
unstable core.

Mind i ask,
is this is a
great piece?

Does this piece make
you feel as if it was
written for you?

Does it fill your stomach,
does it
floss your teeth?

Does it mould your heart
or does it
split in two?

A great piece
takes days
to complete.

This one took about
10 minutes
and 23 seconds.

So is this not a perfect piece,
is this not
a great piece?
