Alan Draper Poems

The captain is a pirate Tom is his name
He was after fortune and fame
Ports submitted to his take over
Too many from Plymouth to Dover
...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I send yoiu these flowers
To show my love for you
...

I have a pet frog
We go frog walking every day at 6pm
He is fine until he sees another frog
He sniffs & then tries to jump
...

Nice apples can be red and often green
and sometimes something in between
Frogs are nearly always green
Soon you'll see what I mean
...

Jacques the chef ordered it
The livestock removed bit by bit
My pond has been drained
Nothing now remains
...

I fell and banged my head
It hurt and bled
Boys dont cry
I will try
...

William is a frog
Harry a bulldog
Fight fight we have a fight
The prize is a princess tonight

The Best Poem Of Alan Draper

Abandon Ship

The captain is a pirate Tom is his name
He was after fortune and fame
Ports submitted to his take over
Too many from Plymouth to Dover

It started well targets were met
Even though they were over-set
Overstretched and overspent
His crew were not content

As time passed things got worse
He found he had an empty purse
Sailing ship left to mate
A decision to delegate

She was strong & made new rule
Tom is out he was a fool
Crew not happy in the boat
Abandon ship to stay afloat

Sinking now goodbye sail
Tom & mate were bound to fail
Who's in charge should 've asked me
I'd have appointed Mr Smee
