The Days Attached By A String

Running miles and miles just to know if there could be a chance,
to see you again with the smile you passed to me at the very first glance.
Preserving every little piece of your presence,
without knowing how will I conserve your essence.
I don't know if deep inside I still have the lost love buried alive,
neither have I known how to explain the complex emotions my eyes contrive.
All the wordless sentences my heart speaks,
explicate the intense silence that roll down my cheeks.
You gave me a strong reason to let you go,
but thousand beautiful reasons to remember you even so.
The flow of affection must have taken different directions,
the moments of lost days never flows back for one's satisfactions.
But the rhythm of souls will never detach from one another,
the melody will only rush through the veins making the memories smoother.
Trying to find out what hides under the dense web of beliefs,
I convinced myself to go beyond the dark shades of feelings.
May it be the reason behind the eyes' shine,
May it be the shadows of the smile,
May it be the cries of the night,
May it be the day's delight,
I might still carry some left overs of the wishes we shared,
they will always remind me of the hopes we pampered.
I have tried to find the ways to deal with every possible conclusion,
maybe I have learned some too after solving the different puzzling confusion.
Maybe you have seen it all,
maybe you never care when I fall.
But I will always be grateful to you for every little wonder,
cause, good or bad whatever we had, you have helped me become stronger.
