Lost In Love

this is how it goes
you where almost mine
i cannot forget you
its like you stand in front of me

you where my girl for what I knew
you could never go away
maybe because I needed you to stay
you where the one I fought

I now understand I where my own enemy
you could have told me
but instead you did what I respect
you left me in the cold

you I can never expect to see again
yet it is my highest wish
for you to see the person that I really am
cause then you would know I lost you

you could have been the best in my life
instead I kept messing up
got the little thing called pain
I do not think that I gained anything

you will see I never forgive my self
just look in to my eyes they might show a tear
not a tear of happiness but of fear
a tear of pain and suffering

I need the friend you where
I just found more than I expected
the girl I could love forever
I wish you to be in my arms

I know I will never be able to fly
with out you in my sight
I will never give up this fight
for you at my side
