The Seat

Sitting alone in a dark room, she shivers. Sighing, she wishes.

Sitting at school all alone, she feels a deep push on her soul. She's never felt so alone. Sighing, she wishes.

She sees him sitting with his friends. He looks happy, but deep down he's lonely. He has friends. She has nobody.

He shows signs to her all the time, but she puts them off. Maybe she doesn't know. Maybe she doesn't want to know. Day after day he tosses it aside, hoping one day it will not just slide.

He looks at her sitting alone hoping one day she'll come along, where she truely belongs. Though no one knows, he's sure, somehow he'll make her more. More than a lonely girl to the side that he admires from a far.

Look at him! Why is he looking? He called me beautiful? Did he mean to? What is he smoking? I feel like it's a joke. Why won't he tell me? I can feel the pressure grabbing, rubbing, and pulling. It's griping me tightly. What do I do! Will I be able to make it through...?

I feel so terrible, look at her cry. I'm trying to take the pain away. Why won't she listen? Why won't you answer me! Are you too good? Am I trying too hard? I swear I've loved you from the start. Look at yourself! Look at me. Is this how you really want to be?

Look at me? Look at me! I know I'm not perfect. I just wanted to deserve it. Your love is too great for me. Maybe I should just leave! You know what- goodbye. I don't need you by my side. I wanted to be together just like you! Goodbye, I'm done. I'm through.

I looked at the lonely girls bare seat, now alone. I've never felt so cold and lonely. Sighing, I wish.
