This Is True

You know its true.

You know you want to hold onto it forever,  
This feeling of security,
The feeling of utter freedom,
This happiness.

Why did you let it go? ?
Did you really think by avoiding the storm, you'd get to see the rainbow at it's fullest? ?
You knew you were wrong.
You knew you'd regret it, just not how much.

Now he's moved on while your still playing the same song; over and over.
Why would he want you now? ?
Why would you deserve it after causing him so much pain? ?
You know you dont.

You hate yourself; hate playing the same song.
Yet why are you still playing it? ?
Just move on. Dont cause any more pain to him. Or you...

I know its true.

I wanted to hold onto it forever,
This secure feeling,
The freedom i felt,
The happiness.

Why did i let it go? ?
I hoped to see the rainbow at its fullest, but all i got was rain.
I thought the regret wouldnt hurt, But it kills.

Now he's happy, while i'm still listening to that song; over and over.
Why would he want me now? ?
I dont deserve him after causing so much pain.
I know i dont.

I hate myself for it; i hate this song.
But this song is all i have now.
I cant move on. I dont know how to. But I dont want him in any more pain.
