Do you not hear the shrieks of her complaint,
As she faces eternal damnation?
Lamentations echo without restraint,
Without moderation!

As wild wind whirls 'round, I hear her cry cold,
And she pleads thus, "Help me, heal me, free me,
From this inferno; I have paid tenfold.
Please save me, I beg thee! "

My frame then fails me, as these words I hear,
And I drop as a dead body would fall.
For, her poison snare has entered my ear.
My back is to the wall.

Ah, but what am I expected to do,
How can I save her from this Nether Hell?
With saddened soul, I must bid Adieu,
Till, tolls the final bell!
