It never failed me!

A spell of heat rising sharply,
At whatever time I try to flee.
So, I opted not to resist,
To keep still is quite an ease!

Exhaustion, that creeping pain in the back.
Hallucination, that stolen sleep from stress.
Abduction, that too much time at work.
Suffocation, that fresh air in restriction.

Nights get stickier with a sudden bitter sweet longing.
Why make a heavy weather of getting things done?
Why flash a weary smile to a deep distress?

I'll pretend I'm too occupied, I won't notice it!
So I may look like one!
And so you may believe I am
a fool
But don't forget!
You are not the only one
given the senses of a man!

that your pretension
is only begetting another of it's kind!
Do not think that never will I think the way you do!
