For the love I have lost
Begging, crying, dying
As sorrow seeps in like frost

Hold me in your arms
As night falls
All I need
Is the warmth of your embrace

Once you’ve crossed the line
That separates life from death
There’s no turning back
All is left up to fate

Can you hear it?
My heart ripping apart
But you don’t care a bit
Why do I even bother?

I really can’t wait
For you to get the letter
From a Legal Aid lawyer
To make things all better
...

Won’t you save me?
Can’t you see I’m in pain?
Can you light the darkness?
Can you show me the way?

What we cannot speak
Others see, through our eyes

Our eyes speak more than words

This is a poem
For three beautiful children
I’m not going to be seeing them for much longer
And I’m really going to miss them
...

I’m screaming…
It’s all too much,
I’m fed up now
I’ve had enough!
...

No one can hurt you now
You are safe in my arms
Just lie here sternally
Free of the ghost that haunts us
