Alyssa George Poems

Maybe this is what I needed
To realize
Who you are.
You don't care, you've made that clear
...

A sickness less rare with each passing day,
Still when one gets it we're all in dismay.
...

Boy,
Until I lost you,
I knew who I was,
Priorities in place,
...

In the dark from you I hide,
You're driving me toward suicide.

Constantly you threaten to take my life,
...

A broken heart found deep within,
Surrounded by regretful sin.
What can one do to change the past,
When the present moves so fast.
...

To lose your sight would truly be,
The most intense of tragedy.
Just think of all you would not see,
If you lost your sight like me.
...

Ignore me than talk, just as soon as you choose,
Can’t give me a reason so now we both lose.

I know that I hurt you now please tell me how,
...

Proof That It's Over

Maybe this is what I needed
To realize
Who you are.
You don't care, you've made that clear
And finally I get it.
I'll accept it.
I'll move on.
I consider this the proof
That it's over.
There's nothing left between us.
You may break my windows, but
My heart
Never
Again.
What is vandalism to you
Is symbolism to me.
You live to damage
And so
You may not 'live' in my life.
This poem
Is the proof
That it's
Over.
