Just Me, Or You Too?

There are so many words I want to say, I want to tell you how I feel
If I tell you I don’t know how you will respond.
Will you feel the same way, or will it change us forever?
Everyone says it’s meant to be, falling in love, just you and me
You’ve got a million ways to make me laugh
And when I’m quiet you break through my shell
I’ve heard things that you’ve said, but I want to hear them from you
Not knowing if they are true, I don’t know what to do
You may not know that it hurts, waiting while you play with my feelings
I want to tell you how much you mean to me or how bad I want to be with you
I just worry that it will ruin what we already have
If I were to tell you how I feel, would you feel the same?
I wait for you to give me a sign, but I worry that you won’t give one before I give up
But, maybe we were meant to be together forever
I don’t want to be scared to tell you, it’s just I don’t want to ruin our great friendship
There are so many things I want to know
No need to pretend I’ve heard you like me, but I want to hear it from you,
So I know it’s real, I’m so lucky that I’ve found you.
