Sick and hollow, your life does turn

we all have our moments
where we shut ourselves out
and crawl into the darkest corner
seeking isolation

Relax,
feel the gentle waves as they greet the nearby beach.
Constantly rolling,
farther and farther they travel
...

I find myself confused
a jumbled mass of emotions
eating away at my sanity
it's like an ongoing maze
...

She is a skyscraper in a bustling city
And as sweet as candy in a baby’s hand.
She is a cheetah in the savanna
And as keen as a chimpanzee.

Her hair was up in a pony-tail,
Her eyes were all aglow,
As she hid beneath the furniture,
For what? She does not know.

Beneath the light of the moon,
I await the return of my prince.
Find him I must, and very soon,
For my patience has long gone since.

Huntresses of the Dawn,
Find your way through darkness,
And escape the enemies’ starkness,
To find your freedom has gone.
