Tongue Twisted

I want to tell you how I feel
about the sky and how the bright rays make me feel...
happy
But words fall short. Words always fall short.

I wish there was a way to communicate how...
awesome... life is to me
Because it's important to see life
through someone else's eyes.
But communication is hindered only by words

Sometimes I wonder If my lips would lay shut
would you understand me then?
And when I'm outside staring at the night sky,
not noticing its darkness because of the stars
and you, shining just as bright right next to me
I feel...
Joyous, exuberant, delighted, tickled, bubbly, enraptured, enchanted, jovial, delirious, exhilarated, intoxicated, comfortable.
But it's more than that. I feel
Flawless. Impeccable. Complete.

And I don't know what to call it.
More than fondness, I guess infatuation, a hint of passion
but just enough to make the butterflies erupt from their cocoons in my belly where your head rests and settle in my throat, saving me from my words.

But that word- the four lettered word.
It should be a curse for its inability to fulfill its meaning

A trivial twist of the tongue,
LOVE just doesn't seem like enough.
