I can not speak these words of love to you,
Or leave a breadcrumb trail,
As I know for sure my heart's in two,
As sure as Love must fail.
...

Did you not see the tears,
that ran down my cheak,
ran off my chin,
And onto my old sweater.
...

There’s always one apple left in the dainty fruit bowl
That is never eaten,
Yet never grows old.
Its skin is varnished like a crystal or glass.
...

Nothings the same anymore
Your different now
Did you change because i made you

Love Must Fail

I can not speak these words of love to you,
Or leave a breadcrumb trail,
As I know for sure my heart's in two,
As sure as Love must fail.
I must pay my days of sentence,
With nobody to pay my bail,
I know that love's my penence,
As I know that Love must fail.
As I cry these tears that glisten,
I resite my woeful tale,
I pray that you will not listen,
Like I pray that Love must fail.
As I pull sweet petals off roses,
There comes a heavy hail,
I see what the storm proposses,
It proposses that love has failed.
