What Is It?

There is a feeling that is deep inside
It is one that can make you run and hide
This feeling that I feel
You know it, it's very real
It can take you up thru the stars
It can even make you feel like you're on mars
What is it that can make us feeling this
Some say it can even make an organ miss
Some may want this feeling to never exist
Some may jump at it and take the risk
It makes you wonder and sit
More than you would like to admit
It leaves your mind stumbling
And sometimes your speech mumbling
It can take your breath away
And make you give yourself away
Day and night it will have you turning
No matter good or bad it will have you yearning
In can have you in wonderous dreams
But reality is not always as it seems
It is something no one can deny
I'll admit it's made me break down and cry
This feeling will punch and kick at your soul
It can certainly place you inside a hole
Whether it goes good or it goes bad
It is something we all liked to have had
It is something that comes in many forms
Makes you do things out of the norm
It is a thing that can come with great timing
It can have people flat out rhyming
It is the language of the gods above and it even comes in form of a dove
