Lonely

peoples words have got me by the throat
through the eyes and sound of words after they spoke
into the mind of someone they never knew
and swear their thoughts could be true
enough to ruin my state of mind
but i always look ahead to see what i can find
in the darkness of my eyelids
when i smoke weed and calculate overwhelming trig
i have no one to call friends or a person to talk to
i had it all one day and it flew
up in smoke in front of my mouth
and i was left walking down south
i do not have a person to laugh with
other than a person that seems a myth
i show a smile to everyone that hits me with a wretched punch line
haha, seriously its okay, im fine
i just smoked smoke sticky icky green
and it took me back to when i was sixteen
you like to hate on a person that has no friends and life
your words are sharp like a butter knife
out of sight and out of mind
i am buried and confined
again this emptyness tears me apart
tired of thinking, dont want to start
best friends are long gone
just like this early mornings dawn
people love to pick and poke at my heart
loving that girl and believing was not so smart
she runs around in my head
knowing the whole time i was misled
love has caused the worst of me
but all came back when i smoked this tree
