God's Love

Overwhelming joy and happiness
Days of stress and tears become nothing but history
For even in tears and sadness, He shines through
Constantly reminding that He is Jehovah Jireh

This heart so undeserving by His love embraced
A soul once lost now found by His amazing grace
His face never seen yet each day clearly manifests His presence
For it is not by our own wisdom but by His grace we receive
We receive faith that leads to believe when we don’t understand
After all, all He is, even just a glimpse of His true nature is too great for our mere minds to comprehend
I so low and sinful yet He calls me friend, for me His blood was shed
Who am I that He the Lord of Lords gave authority over all He created
That even as I fall short of His glory, His love remains
Through all storms and rains He lifts me to higher ground
Holy, yes Holy is He

See He is the King of Kings and what He says stands
And He… He calls me beautiful, the apple of His eye
What greater Love than this oh Lord
