Vent

What is...
What is not...
I'm not sure if I'm even worth a thought...
Yes, its a vent...
No one seems to understand...
Unless of course...you've ever had a heart with a dent...
'beautiful sorrow is' sarcastically, of course...
'Cuz its harmless on the top, but its on the inside that it kills...
'Cuz there never is a sting this bad,
As it is when you see, someone fitting in your place oh so 'perfectly'...
And you know you deserved to be there...
But since when did 'deserving it' seem to be enough?
So here we are...
Not knowing how much time it takes...
to move on and stop caring...
Hoping there to be a day...
When you can leave all this behind...
