My body is a statue
But my mind is a tornado
What if? keeps repeating
Memories play back
Tears stroll down my face
My heart is empty & broken
Silently I beg for her to come back
But she won’t
My mom hugs me
And cries on my shoulder
I can’t help her
If I can’t help myself
The pain is taking over me
I have no hope
And I know I can’t cope
I am numb with pain
