Fire

</>He blazed a trail of fire through uncertain roads of childhood
Through dark corridors of confusion everything he understood
Eyes of clear perception reflect a wisdom beyond his years
A million dreams come true that will banish away the fears

Crystal words of passion fuelled the pride of an unwanted soul
A sea of possibilities led the way to a distant goal
In all my tunnel visions he showed me how to reach the end
Through his eyes I saw the wounds to tend and gaping holes to mend

He showed me the beauty in the midst of a world in demise
Senses sharpened, awareness deepened-he made me realise
Across the ages of deception there's a burning love to be found
And through a lifetime of betrayal trust will always come around.

and we still bear the scar
and we still see so far
but he will steal the fire
for shallowed dreams and desires

and he will break the chains
he will relight the flame
now I will cross the line
and I will claim what's mine.
