My Bestie, My Friend

Your sorrow overwhelms me,
so I cry out for you.
Your pain becomes a part of me
I wish I knew what to do.

A sense of failure goes through me
That I can't hold you as you cry.
My failure tries to suffocate me
I feel a peice of me die.

Your pain is in my skin
the tears run through my veins.
Your sorrow fills my soul
as I try to breath again.

I can't be there for you
and that breaks my heart.
I hear you in dispair
and I hate that we are apart.

Love led you down a rocky path
it left you there in sorrow.
Please trust in me and know
that there always is tomorrow.

If I could just be with you now
I would wrap you in my arms,
You would feel my love
you would feel safe from harm.

In the safty of my love
your heart would open then.
In the warmth of our embrace
you'ld beleive in love again.
