Without You

You are the sea splashing against the rocks,
The sound I hear from the ticking of clocks.
You're like the seagulls flying near the docks,
An earthquake giving out those shocks.

You are the clouds in a near sunny sky,
The wings that help a bird to fly.
You're what keeps the planes soaring high,
The thing that makes me wonder, why?

You are the warmth on a fine summers' day,
The happiest ending, to the saddest play.
You're the medicine keeping sickness at bay,
The thing in my head that tells me what to say.

You are the laces seen on top of my shoe,
Like calling a radio station, never getting through.
Have you seen here, what I'm trying to do?
Show that my world is nothing, without you.
