Anthony Yaman D. Cabal Poems

The path you will traverse will contain a lot of bumps and turns,
And though you fall, you get back up, and continue when the lesson is learned,
You'll be shattered to nothing, fail repeatedly, again and again and again,
And everytime you look for comfort the trials stack up and it seems like it never ends.
...

Everlasting bonds, forever restrains me.
People around, struggle insanely.
Resistance is futile, all will absorb the taint.
And as for the surrounding areas, as colorful as an artist's paint.
...

It's the fall of the people having fun on top,
You worked hard for your things, we worked hard for the plot.
Every word I say is true from verse to verse and every dot,
I'll murder you lyrically here and on the spot.
...

Revolution. A fundamental change in power,
That takes place in a relatively short period of time.
Locked away for fighting for something that was once mine.
This is revolution. Death mounts up high like a tower.
...

Living by. Don't worry about the past, nor the future.
So, for today, we're gonna' be your teachers.
Why do we have to fake a smile?
Is the soul behind you really just a innocent child?

I don't need women, attention or money.
All I need is cash, fame and groupies.
I'm happy now, but I feel sad.
I no longer feel joy, but somehow I'm glad

There comes a time in a man's life,
Where his will to reach his ambition kicks in.
He may search for his dream job or his destined wife,
But there's only two different endings.
...

All they ever think about is how to survive their struggle,
They best be laborin', livin' on with their hustle.
Best be workin' overtime, best be feeding my child,
Best to hand it to the government, than acting all wild.

Moonlight shines on his distant cousin; She.
And though the former, outshines the latter,
In beauty, the triumphant better be,
She, She, She, She, who I am after.

Siting on the grass fields at a wonderful night, thinking, thinking.
Thinking about the time, the time when-
I looked into your eyes, into your eyes, never blinking,
Not a trouble in the world, in the world that was then.
...

The night bestowed drought, death and trials.
A noble man of royalty, exhaled his final.
Of men of lower caste, stand normal but astounded.
Their feeble minds knew not, that they are ultimately grounded.

Gone are days that conversation looms freely between us two,
The days that agonizing confabulation takes no visit on our presence.
Taken by the decision deciding what I must not and must do,
As slowly the reek of deceit, rips away our entwined essence.

The Path Of The Righteous Man

The path you will traverse will contain a lot of bumps and turns,
And though you fall, you get back up, and continue when the lesson is learned,
You'll be shattered to nothing, fail repeatedly, again and again and again,
And everytime you look for comfort the trials stack up and it seems like it never ends.

Being hopeful is one thing but being courageous is in a whole new level,
Being hopeful brings flashes of light while courage lights a candle,
Courage gets you across the road and in to the heart of your enemies lines.
And through facing whatever is ahead of you, in God you'll fall in eternal bind.

A midst the path lies the unjust rules that oppress on the normal man,
And the power isn't shared to the people it stays in their self righteous clan.
Offered God's embrace, they reject it to forcibly grasp on evil's hands.
They know the eternal life they rejected but still on short happiness firmly they stand.

But as their ignorant mind tells them, they're not ready when divine intervention occurs.
And they insist on it not happening and make decisions with a slur.
Signs are appearing, that they aren't right, but they assert it's just a blur.
They restrict us all turning us into lab rats but insisting we're still birds.

The time will come and it's running fast,
And when the table turns they'll run from blasts,
Caused' by the unjust actions they did in the past,
And they will realize that the time of reckoning has come at last.
