I remember well that summer place,
The sun, the sea, the surf soaked sand,
The light that lit your lovley face,
As we splashed bare foot, hand in hand.

The morning after the Princess Sleeping Beauty married the handsome
Prince, the Queen came down to breakfast-

The world has burst assunder,
It`s fragments groung to dust,
Good swallowed up by evil
Purity rank with fust.
...

It was Christmas eve in the valley
The miners came up from the pit,
They came out of the cage picked up their wage
And went home for a shower and a shave.
...

An equation came to me,
While sitting firmly on the fence-
The higher the education
The lower the common sense.

A cloudless sky,
...

I cant pretend that the long week end
That I spent in gay Parie
Though `twas great left me in a state
Of very low degree.

And the walls they look the worse for ware,
If you suddenly get the feeing
You aught to paint the ceiling,

Time is growing very short

We slaves of life and condesend

The Best Poem Of archie langford

I Remember Well That Summer Place.

I remember well that summer place,
The sun, the sea, the surf soaked sand,
The light that lit your lovley face,
As we splashed bare foot, hand in hand.
And in the evening on the pier,
Our bodies sore from too much sun,
Tenderly I held you near,
We danced to Cyril Stapleton.
And later in that gox on wheels,
Laughingly called a caravan,
Where we cooked our meagre meals,
And loved as only lovers can.
And now so many years have passed,
I`ve grown old, (I hope with grace) .
Countless memories I`ve amassed,
But I remember well that summer place.
