The Best Poem Of Ashlee Hancock

Never Got To Be There.

</>She took her last breath
and last look at the world,
she fell into a deep sleep and that was it she was gone,
and my life kind of curled,

I wasn't there,
to keep her safe,
the harm that surrounded her,
but not realizing how much danger and that it was unsafe,

I should of known,
the tears in her eyes the time i saw her,
when she was laying there in pain,
but to me it was all a blur,

my mind was focused on her living,
but that wasn't a possibility,
it was her time,
and not my responsibility

why couldn't i have been there for her,
she was always there for me,
and now i can't bare to be happy,
she is gone and not where she is suppose to be,

She would sit and tell me wonderful things,
like your beautiful, best grand daughter ever,
she said she couldn't live without me,
and i would never leave her, never

now i can't live without her,
she was the most important to me,
but the things is,
no one could see,

when they took me away from her,
my heart split,
thinking now i am away from her,
being this hard to admit,
