Burned By My Fire

The fire's gone out
And I've danced too close
Smoke casting shadows
I'm left with your ghost

There's only silence
The music has ceased
Much like the love
In which I believed

Surrounded by smoke
Light died with the flame
Afraid in the dark-
I'm calling your name

My old twisted smile
Is now a grimace
From burns on my skin
Begging forgiveness
