cheers of hatred
filled the air
a tear fell down his cheek
I'm innocent, he yelled

laughter permeated the car
a split second passed
screams
silence
...

clad in chainmail
the warrior cowered to the ground
the bloody ground
his enemy sneered
...

I stumble and trip as I make my escape.
The haunting memories fill my soul
And I tremble in horror.
I shiver as the calloused hand holds me prisoner.
