A Beam Of Light

This world is wide
But you are all alone
You smile because you have to smile
And all your pains have grown
And when you stay alone you cry
And then you dry your eyes
Because you see inside your pains
A beam of light
And 'cause your sight
Becomes so strong and it goes far
Nearby the heavens like a star
And it sees more and more
And in your heart there is something
That you cannot ignore
It is something obscure but you
Can see it clear
Can touch it and can feel its warmth
So it gives you some strength
Some power taken from the fires
That burn inside all your desires
Some holy flames
That like a sun
Which warm your heart
And give life to the seeds
That lie beneath the grownd
Don't let yourself
But off the flames
cause life needs pain
And pain gives heat
And this heat is what makes you live
