Babbling Brookes (11 May 1954 / Macclesfield)
Biography of Babbling Brookes
A retired nurse who works harder than before retirement, don't know where all the time goes.
I've always written, mostly bad, very self indulgent crap, but never shared. I need to learn alot more so any input appreciated. Totally in love with the moors and the pennines in all its wild glory.
Babbling Brookes's Works:
Prose 'Tales from Out in the City' an anthology of experience by older gay man.

Loss is not that first stab,
Nor the numbness that follows.
Loss is not the nights after,
Nor tears shed heavily into pillows.
Loss is coming home full of news,
Only to find an empty house.
Forgetful, to set the table for two,
Turn to speak to vacant air.
Loss is to laugh alone.
