Dark Night

Times were hard and bad things were said.
Mind is escaping as I lay to bed.
One thing though will remain the same
There's no escaping this daily game
For there are controls we cannot see
Though I have felt them deep within me
In order to suceed you have to be brave
To distance yourself from an early grave.
