Man's Best Friend

I start my day thinking of you
And you're the first I visit too
Without you I'd surely die
Some people hate you though I don't know why
If you left I'd be gone in days
You give me life in so many ways
I'm so glad I can count on you
To be the one who sees me through
You come in many sizes, many shapes
From juicy steaks to tiny grapes
You always help improve my mood
I love you my precious food
