Blizzard

You called me last night,
I thought to say goodnight.
But you told me you've given up,
And everything is so hard,
And no one understands.
But I know it's you,
Who's been misled...

They always say,
If you want the rainbow,
You gotta put up with the rain.
There is no rain,
It's a storm of snow and hail.
Everyone's cold,
And everything hurts
You too much to stay...

I didn't cry, I didn't beg.
I promised you the pain would end.
I know it's hard
Not to give up,
But suicide's not the way...

They always say,
If you want the rainbow,
You gotta put up with the rain.
There is no rain,

Everyone's cold,
And everything hurts
You too much to stay...

You told me you were unsure,
But you would call tomorrow.
I cried right then,
I had almost lost my friend...
I told you...
I love you and goodnight.
Then you said,
'I will not give into this fight.
My life is not over yet,
And I'm not ready to die,
And I never want to have to tell you
Goodbye, '
