Just Ask Me to Leave

Just ask me to leave
And leave me alone

Don’t cheat on me
How could you cheat on me when you are my everything
You’re all I have, all I’ll ever need
Why would you listen to them
I don’t even know the right questions to ask
I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place after all this time
Every time I try to talk to you, u say not now Diamond
It’s not you Diamond it’s me
Or u blow up
So desperately to hold on to you I sit quiet
Because I don’t want to rock the boat
It’s hard enough as it is to stay afloat

Why don’t you just ask me to leave?
Or leave me alone!

Why would you hurt me like this?
Why am I askin you this?
I should ask myself this very question
Because you can only do what I allow you to do
But this has proven everyone right
Can’t say I gave up without a fight
And I’m so mad I don’t know whether to cry or fight
Or thank God that I finally see the light!

Now the only question left is what do I do?
This pain only time can soothe
I’ve been lookin for a place because I need to move
How could I have been such a fool?
