March winds have come again.
I look forward to spring once more.
The daffodil and the flowering trees
will bloom as they have before,
And still the winds will make their way
and my wind chimes will ring.
But I will not lose my euphoria
for soon it will be spring.
The sweetened scent will bring the bees
and the nectar will be sucked.
Nests will be made from mulch and twigs
and the robin's eggs will be tucked
beneath the warmth of the wing.
And still the winds may blow.
I'll watch all of these natural things
until the March winds go.
