Morning again, what's new about her?
Time to shave, have breakfast,
Pour water, scrub my soul, rev my car,
And drive to find my purpose afar.
I will see the same fat cat, jogging away,
Not changed a bit, still the same every way.
The same traffic, same signals, all blinking,
And the world of Mumbai will flow winking.
I will see school children,
Private and public,
Uniforms shabby and neat,
Some in shoes some in slippers,
Some walking in groups some in singles,
Few penned as chickens in buses, rickshaws
Few riding coaches their daddies call cars,
But all with fresh eyes, innocent hearts, clear minds
Untouched of yesterday's news paper
Every one of them looks at me,
Blows kisses every single day
Uncle wish you a happy Valentines Day.
