There will always be a need for prayer
where ever the road may lead,
as long as our hearts reach out
to help someone in need.
As long as the ardent faithful kneel
beside their bed to pray,
' Lord bless the destitute on earth '
And help everyone to be tolerant each day.
There will always be a need for prayer
for hope and peace to reign again,
as long as there is love and caring,
and goodwill towards all women and men.
As long as there is faith in prayer
to keep hearts warm and kind,
no matter where the road may lead,
there will always be a prayer time.
