like us

fallen seeds covered with leaves
keep them warm and healthy to breath
and when it's cold snow falls to a deep
remain safe besides squirrel's crave

oh! bare, are trees in slumber
exposing insects to winged hunter
clinging moss will dry and soon fall
leaving their barks smooth and beautiful

pretty mistletoes are still up there
to remind us they are alive and well
just like we do, we seem not to care
deep in our heart, love them so dear
