take time to listen

it's not to be dissected or scripted
but taken as a whole
skill for solemn mind
and soul pictures it to mirror
i remember
an infant respond; a cry
i didn't raise my voice or my hand
i have gained wisdom to undertstand
and teach 'em ways of wise man
be good to yourself
change for better
with open arms and mind
love will find you
