The most wonderful
moment of all
when I wrote
my first Arabic dialogue:
Omar asks Laylah to the cinema
'turiidi ratuuHi maHii
li as-sinema, ya Laylah? '
and she replies no, I have work too much
'laa, hindii shugl kitiir' and he says
you have a problem 'hindik mushkilah'
Then he says she is a good girl
'Laylah ladhiidhah'
and asks lazy Salwa to the cinema
because Salwa is sweet 'Hiluwah'
and Laylah says I will eat
some chocolate 'ash-schuculah'!
