Sleep Well

Grasping the neck of moonshine
With a diamond to her throat
She choked,

Don't you know I'm leaving
From the bedside where you're breathing
And there was never a better time
You're always sleeping

As the waves crashed in his ears
Leaving sand fresh in his eyes
He cried,

Sweetheart, you're no better
With each sun a new endeavour
Won't you crawl into my sheets
And we'll dream forever
