{1} THE SPIRIT’S TOUCH

“Lord, let my praise scale Your mountain
Let Your grace be a fountain
Allow Your truth fill unsaved ears
There to abide eternal years

Without Your love, I was alone
Within I had a heart of stone
For death I used to yearn each day
For no-one came to show the way

I failed to love the way I should
Serve my God the way I could
Be on my knees or sing Your praise
Yet still Your love’s set me ablaze

With You my God I need no-more
On love’s true wealth I now can soar
In Jesus’ hand this child is free
With hope and faith Your face to see

Upon the hills Your truth is heard
There being sung by beast and bird
Amongst the trees reigns beauty serene
Throughout nature Your handwork’s seen

God! You’re eternal, so deep, deep
Your depth’s awesome, I keep, keep
Wanting to submerge, falling, falling
Deeper Lord, You’re so enthralling

Infinite God, Your truth’s foretold
Just how life’s pages now unfold
Without Your Marker I’d lose my place
From life’s book without a trace

Yet with Your hand held fast to mine
From Jesus’ cup I drink life’s wine
Through Jesus’ love it’s mine for free
I thank my God for saving me.
